I felt sad about this topic because their country is getting hit with floods. I also felt content because the teachers and educators in Bangladesh are trying their best to educate people. Even thought they're a low-income country, they try to provide the best resources available.
I know if my home was getting hit with floods that could potentially destroy everything, my mind wouldn't be on education. But since their kids and teenagers their parents probably still try to get them their education even with things going on. The fact that the video is talking about a small village is worse. The village might be on it's own when dealing with the floods.
The people of the village most likely went through a lot to get the floating school started. Setting up the boats to fit classrooms. The hardest was probably the floating library and technology center but they pulled it off. It seems that the educators and rest of the village were real aggressive to keep educating the youth of the village and it worked out.
Despite having to deal with floods lately, the village in Bangladesh still values education. It could be a good thing, that the parents have less to deal with, so the rest of the village can focus on better ways to avoid really bad flood damage. The youth were into it too having a different piece of scenery and learning environment. You never know the youth could apply something they learned in school to help with the flooding.
